To the guy asking about the time it takes to wait on wood for using about 10 percent and lower on a moisture meter any type will do as they start about £10 and upwards Regards Jamie

How long ago was the wood cut.I'm a new turner,working on my third piece.

This piece of wood was cut about week before I turned it, though, it turned out, I should've let it dry slowly for a while longer. After the bowl was done, even with the oven drying, there was still a lot of moisture in the wood, and a new crack formed. I'm still figuring these things out too, thanks for watching!

hmm. I do have a voice, but I don't really have the equipment to record it well, or the confidence to do a half decent job anyhow😅 Currently working on both of those things, thanks for the input!
