But i will be the last of my family, there is no next generation, so no use to spend anything on my burial. No one there to see it and i will be dead. Gorgeous piece of work ... prayers to the family. I have pretty much retired my big hoop steady (similar to yours but built of Baltic Birch) in favor of Oneway's Bowl Steady. It is the one with a single vertical post and a set of adjustable wheels. It supports the workpiece on the side you are cutting on, which eliminates vibration, and doesn't get in the way of your laser or TV camera. Like everything else from Oneway, it is built like a tank.

Been debated on getting one of these, it will keep things from vibrating but won’t keep them from coming off the lathe tho, lol. I think a quick mod will make this rest more functional. Thanks 🙏

This urn turned out so pretty. I really like how the resin was drawn into the burl so you get little jewels of color in the midst of the burl. It's touching to see your concern for getting this urn just right.
