You could never make this in the uk as our resin is just to expensive to make anything this thick or big ….but lovely idea

One thing I don't understand is, why use such a HUGE piece of wood - just to spend 6 hrs chiseling 90% of it off?! Also it would have been nice to be able to see more of the pine cone (perhaps if they were glued in at an angle). Just my opinion! ~*~*~* However, everything was fine until.... he for some crazy reason decided to at the end, whack some diagonal slices into the bottom of it.... At first I thought they were all going to be symmetrical where he marked each measurement, but then I was like 😮 no! He started whacking in the opposite direction with no obvious plan & then the measured markings he made literally went down the shitter! (because at that point because none of them looked the same - as they obviously should have been!) And, what made it worse is the darn thing was off balance (you literally could see it wobble & could see him trying to hide the wobble & he knew at that point, he screwed up! It is a pretty piece, but seriously he either should have left the bottom without a (whacking) "design" or plan ahead a "Measured Design!"
