Good work,but why the music so loud over the turning sounds
@jpwoodwork3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, the reason for the music is i live in an area where there is constant background noise now so it would make it practically impossible to make a video without constant reshoots, hope you can understand that, i tend to get this comment a lot and some people are nicer than others

Hi JP. How does your lather perform with large diameter wood on it? How has the lathe itself performed?
@jpwoodwork Жыл бұрын
Hiya, so i recently had the opportunity to upgrade to a much bigger lathe and if it wasnt for space i would have kept this lathe, i loved it, i never let me down one, i have turned some huge pieces on it, i turned a 21 inch piece out board on it and it never let me down once, the whole time i had it i never moved it off the middle belt unless i was doing huge pieces where i needed that little more torque and i lowered the belt ratio and once again it performed flawlessly, i highly recommend it if you are looking into buying one :)

What do you use for finishing before you spray on the cellulose sanding sealer? Where can I get it?or, is it just denatured alcohol to remove the sanding dust?

that is correct, it is just Denatured Alcohol, here in the UK we put a purple dye and also call it Methylated Spirits, hope that helps
