The entire video I assumed it was going to have a light inside of it, kind of a night light with flame effects. I was very surprised when he added the stainless mug hardware. He went a totally different way with it. Nice job. Also, envious of the equipment in your shop. You inspire my goals.

The number of hours you must have put in to produce such an item, and it is for such a simple thing. It is truly a thing of beauty and meant for those people who are truly wealthy. It brings to mind the amazing things that Faberge made for the aristocrats of that era. Simple things covered in precious gems and metal and way too pretty to use. It seems to me that, in order to be a brilliant creator and craftsperson in wood, you need more than talent, skill, a grasp of mathematics, imagination, and the ability to see the eventual outcome in your mind's eye.
