Yeah people don't realize how much more diversity there is in skating mini-ramps compared to flatground tricks. There's way more of a chance that two skaters have the same flatground tricks in their bag, than they do on transition. That's why I they should get 2 attempts and 3 on the last one.

the younger skater, with more unique combos and variations, lost to the slightly older, much more experienced skater, who relied on her solid foundation and consistency. better is subjective. the most talented NFL team with the worst coach doesn't win super bowls. Amelia was better, in that contest; but it was also only a 1 letter game.

@@pradellouis That just means that Amelia thinks Bryce can do better than she did. But Bryce shook her head in disagreement, she thinks she gave it her all and the outcome was fair. We know that self confidence is a HUGE factor in landing tricks, especially in clutch situations. Amelia has far more stat points in that skill set, so that's why I'd weigh her as the better skater.

@@AlexNiedt I couldn’t agree more. It’s sad and a bit funny at the same time lol. Idk about this new generation, but 20 years ago whenever I was a young kid getting into skating I watched every video I could get my hands on. We didn’t even have KZbin with every skate video on it back then. We just bought/borrowed from the shop and we all passed the videos around so we would all have a few to watch at home for a while then we would periodically switch out with eachother. I was obsessed with watching all the older vids and getting as much knowledge of the history of skateboarding as I possibly could. That’s just what we did as skaters back in those days. I guess it’s just a different generation now. Tim O’Connor is one of the best of his generation in regards to style and trick selection. And he’s always been the “funny shit talk” guy. It’s a nice surprise seeing Tim in a commentary roll for this little contest in my opinion.
