With Anzalone and Reeves-Maybin both back you have 2/3 of your season opening LB's back and Campbell fills them out to the same LB strength we started the season with. It was out "missing" LB's that the Bills exploited in that loss. If we had Maybin and Anzalone in that game the Lions win it.

I think Anzalone's biggest value other than calling the defense is delivering the big blows that makes the other team turn their heads to soon causing them to making mistakes. If he is not healed up enough to make the hits then he sits

The question is how effective will he be with a bum arm and rubber cast. Deion Sanders kid broke his arm and came back like this a played Horribly missing tons of tackles and seemed to be gun shy to even try to tackle protecting his busted arm. Just because they say they are back does not mean they are mentally back. I want him to be but I will have to see it first.
