It's good to go all in like Rams, but even they paid the price and watched most of their roster flip over and rebuild. Lions should do it though. They won't win it all if they don't. It's not about trading the picks for Garrett. It's the 30-35 million he's going to want from the team that trades for him. He has NO guaranteed money left on his contract. He's not stepping anywhere near a football field till he gets a new contract.

I would definitely do this, although Holmes never will. Even if you have to give up two first round picks, are they going to find anyone in the draft who is as talented and is already in his prime? Holmes says he doesn't want to give up picks so he can keep the team competitive. What is the point of making the playoffs every year if you don't win the Superbowl? Isn't that the goal? Wouldn't EVERY Lions fan give up a couple of playoff years to win one next season? Plus, Garrett has two years left on his contract so, if you don't want to extend him in order to sign your own talent, then don't. It still gives them a two year window. Imagine Garrett, Hutchinson, Smith and McNeil. The best line in football.

The Lions don't have the draft capital to get Garrett - While it would probably cost 2 #1s (at least) the Lions #1s are too late in the 1st round to have value. Your only chance is that it will cost you one of your cheap blue chip players (at least). Im thinking a Brian Branch. So if you think they will will give at least 2#1s and a Brian Branch and maybe a 2nd round or two, then go for it. I might do it but I doubt the Browns will.

Speak for yourself I’m not happy with Goff. It was not a win win. It was a 7-1 player swap. 1 Matthew Stafford for 7players. Stafford got the job done and proved to everyone here he’s the better man if you just give him a defense to help just a little bit he can win. Don’t forget about those 8 4th qtr comebacks by himself throwing the ball because he can’t keep a healthy RB1 nor did he have enough help with the 7HCs in 12 years. If you ire happy with “just enough” “ GOFFUL” is your qb but he can’t win when it counts. Goff doesn’t scare anyone throwing the ball. He doesn’t spread the defense he heavily relies on the run game. Those 4,500 yards he “threw”. For those are all his weapons making him look good they don’t need Goff. Goff needs them. He needs a million dollar team to win I don’t see any other QB needing every single little thing to go perfect for them to be able to win. Stop bringing up 18/18 that’s a great stat but it’s not hard throwing 10yard passes. His ball placement is “GOFFUL” St brown stop everytime to adjust to the ball he can’t spread the defense with his “deep ball” yes that 60 yard ball was nice but not impressive when the accuracy isn’t there this team needs a strong arm QB to spread the defense. He tried too hard to be TB12 with these check downs 30seconds left 1 T.O. 75 yards smh he can’t throw it to get it done matter of fact he’s 0-7 when he’s forced to throw the ball to win.
