@@Sonofgodinchrist They’re about to take on bad contracts and perhaps players that either don’t fit or that are injury prone like Zach Lavine while they slowly figure out what to do with the roster. Scrap that! I’m not saying that it’ll be easy but be proactive and make trades and signings that make sense for this team moving forward. Go after players that complement Cades skill set. Sure the team is so bad that no good players want to come here but if you trade for them they have no choice. Houston signed only two “solid” players last summer and look at the leap forward they took this season and now they can keep building on that. Imagine where they’d be heading if they only took on bad contracts last summer and players that didn’t fit with the team. A good GM isn’t looking to throw away a couple of seasons while he evaluates the team and gets a plan together. A good GM will come up with a plan that will start improving this team from day 1

@@burkess44 Go get Miles Bridges & Buddy Hield…try to bring back KCP if you can’t get Bridges. They’re all free agents. Make some offers. Try to trade the picks this year if you can. If you gotta draft, get some guys committed to team defense and offensive fundamentals and higher percentage shooters. I just think more young guys and getting vets who are weak defenders is going to keep the bleeding going.
