Nice video. I've made a few for family members. What does make me nervous about this video is all the little wood chunks at the back end of the cut. If the spinning blade hit one it will smash it against the saw and fly in a direction that might hit you and do a great amount of damage to you.

@greatgrandpaswoodworking yea.. your not wrong.. that's happened a few times... im working on the.. understanding that people may learn from these videos... poor behaviors.

My first time watching you, great ideas, however, a router can damage your hands so I would have a fence on the router table and use some kind of holder especially for small pieces and eyes, ears and and breathing protection always helps. do your best to keep your fingers as far away from blades as possible. I like your projects, keep up the good work. Looking forward to more ideas from you.

I do need to be more careful. That is true..

Some interesting projects, thanksforsharing. I am curious, though, why didn't you cut the 45-degree angle for the roof on your compound miter?
@NewSummitWoodWorking5 ай бұрын
Honestly I didn't really think about it, but when I did it for the long triangle with the drawer, wasn't the .. most comfortable cut.

Stain is not finish, right? You put some lacquer on top of the stain? Otherwise, great idées! Thanks for the video!

Because I'm going for the rustic appeal, I don't actually apply any finish beyond the stain, but if I were to do say a table.. im defenitly putting a poly or something

It looks like your table saw is in need of regular maintenance

Honestly how much have you made from these? And have you tried “boot jacks” or boot pullers, they sold well for me

I've sold a little over 10 of the houses specifically. A small handfull of the ones with drawers, a couple triangles, but not the one in the video. That's still sitting around. And the house shade I've sold 3. So overall around $700
