I can't remember how I found your channel, but I absolutely love it. I'm not someone who's ever done woodworking (besides shop class back in middle school) but I've learned so much through your videos. Not only about segmented wood turning and kitchen renovation, but about video editing and production; the amount of work you put into not only the projects, but the videos themselves is remarkable! Going through your channel has been inspiring in all areas of my life, to push myself to a higher standard and seek out things that might seem impossible at first. Thank you for the entertainment, knowledge, and motivation!

I love the way you interspersed the two stories! you always find a way to allow interesting things to to totally just speak for themselves. it's super calm, your videos always feel slow, but never boring. I hope that comes off as a compliment!

I have to say, you never cease to amaze. Probably my favorite channel on KZbin. I also agree with you on the eclipse. Next to the birth of my four sons, the greatest display of grace and humanity I have ever seen in my 52 years. Our small town was in the path of totality and our population grew three/four fold. Everyone was in sync. Locals and visitors alike. Thank you again Frank!

Frank, your experiments into build video/travel video combinations have been really nice. I liked the Mt St Helens one, but the pacing of this one was so smooth and two elements together really helped to tell the whole story. I would imagine that these kind of videos are much, much more time intensive when it comes to editing, so I wanted to make sure you knew that the effort paid off and that result is suburb. I've watched most of your videos, and your editing, animations, shooting angles, and camera tricks have always been great, but I feel like your "writing," or "directing", or whatever the correct word is, has started evolving into something really special. Thanks a ton for the video!

Frank, I drove 14 hours to St. Joe Missouri and it rained, cloudy etc. Well maybe in 2024 will be the next in the US Great project, glad you got to be part of the eclipse experience
@WesleyTreat7 жыл бұрын
I drove up from Dallas and stayed in Kansas City. I was planning on St. Joseph for the eclipse, but because of the weather, I headed east that morning to Columbia. According to the St. Joe city website, they hadn't had an overcast sky on the afternoon of Aug. 21 since 1995. So, naturally, it poured during the eclipse. There was still a thin layer of haze in Columbia, but you could see the eclipse just great. Sorry you missed it. There had to be a lot of disappointed faces in St. Joe.

I remember the eclipse we had in Europe in 2000 something where we had the worst weather of all. It was windy, it was cloudy ... but yet, even then, I vividly remember all of what you described. Even though I witnessed it from the front of my grandma's house, in which I live today. Thanks for the video Frank, great one as usual ! Keep it up !

The eclipse was so amazing! You're right, I have rewatched the video that I took of the eclipse but it does not do it justice whatsoever. It was a complete physical/visual/emotional experience that words cannot describe. I was making sure that the corona of the sun was being captured on my camera and finally ditched the camera. Such an awesome experience!
