Nice video, and even nicer innovation. Definitely has a place in the right shop. Thanks for posting.

It would be great if WWGOA got rid of the ad banner along the bottom, so we could see the action!!

Ok for some rich retiree with a small home shop filled with Festool, Lie Neilsen and Incra etc but not for most shops and certainly not for anyone on a budget. Sacrificial backer boards should have been used to counter the chipping we saw but maybe it would have interfered with the camera view....

Nice video, would look to see the router boss set up on or for a work bench

Does it only works with DeWalt routers ?

"He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist" .. He who works with high end jigs is richer than me

ThisSideOfMidNight it was a free promo unit. very cumbersome and takes too much time to make cuts that could be done faster without overpriced jig unit.

The vibration of the router is shaking the nut loose on the bottom featherboard at the end of the video. It gets completely loose and is almost falling off. Careful with that!

Great video ! Gotta have one of those to go with my hobby shop full of Festools. Do prefer the Festool routers to DeWalt. I am retired (what kind of name is jonto anyway?) and am loving every minute of it. My sympathy to those blue collar carpenters out there. Keep plugging away and someday you may be able to junk those Chinese tools and get some good USA and German made tools.... like this router boss jig. Got to go refill my scotch and soda then head out to the shop.

I notice that the Router Boss was PROVIDED by chipsfly.con ( 1 min into video ). Wonder if George Vondrisca would actually BUY the Router Boss?. seems to me that advice is CHEAP but the PERKS come FREE..
@havenisse200910 жыл бұрын
Nice, but they don't come cheap. $1000 USD +.

Editing Tip: Don't throw in advertising banners that obscure what you are trying to demonstrate. It's very annoying.

what a waist of time and money! this is just a commercial for a high dollar needless tool.
@lewisstepp870910 жыл бұрын
Not a commercial. We furnished the Router Boss, but had no input into the script. There are lots of happy Router Boss owners. No router tool offers the same versatility. Visit the ChipsFly.com website to learn more.
@brendanstrain13359 жыл бұрын
Lewis Stepp No offence intended here - but it most definitely was an advertisement, much like your post was. The tool has a place in certain environments, but definitely not in most.

This is undoubtedly the ideal woodworking book I have ever read, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). The book consists of attractive pictures and drawings and reader-friendly text. This is a “must have” woodworking book simply because everything you need to learn about woodworking is found here and it truly walks you throughout the topic well.

George? I am highly disappointed in this video. Why not just tell us your advertising for the jig. Please do one for the rest of us okay? When I win the lottery, might check it out!
