as a carpenter of 50 years I don't recommend this. It's extremely hard on the table saw and the blade. You'd be better off getting a wood lathe. Nice work however.

This only makes sense if you often work on a lathe, making different patterns. if a constant diameter is required, then this solution will be more practical, cheaper and take up less space.

Super cool no doubt and if I was stuck on a mountain with no access to a store and needed to get the piece out by weeks end .... Maybe.... But with the money spent on material and the time spent making the jig.. It would have been cheaper to buy a second hand lathe...
