I learned this as a young surveyor when being mentored by an excellent more experienced surveyor so I feel obliged to pass it on.

Hi Laura, my point is that it is not active, evidenced by the fact that there is no bore dust on or below the timbers as I explained in the video.

Excellent tip regarding the torch angle. I did not know this. Question on the missing bore dust on the floor comment. Would you not expect any fras to have been blown away in the typical draughty loft void?
