Woody Allen is far more articulate, insightful, and intelligent than most people realize. He has consciously experienced the denial of death, the gloomy meaninglessness of reality, and the pointless journey of the Universe, and yet he has always found an artistic expression to make it humanly bearable.

Woody Allen on Antinatalism From an interview in the Sunday Times, October 2nd, 2011. "I never thought I was doing anyone a favour by bringing children into the world. With people as cruel to each other as they are, it’s a terrible proposition. The best of lives are sad and tragic. The best of them. My general conclusion is that it’s not a nice thing to do. The world doesn’t need it. The kid doesn’t need it. When the interviewer, obviously a little incredulous, responded by saying that surely a man of Allen’s wealth could guarantee a child a good life, Woody answered I can’t guarantee a child anything. I can’t guarantee that I was around five minutes after he or she was born."

You're talking about religions? Yeah religions are based on the fear of death mostly. Probably some people going crazy over the idea of it. But after all we don't know if there is really nothing after. What is sure is that religions are invented by humans.

@lazurm8 ай бұрын
The knowledge of permanent death is a gift in that, with a certain perspective and assuming positive conditions, allows one to relish the only thing we can be certain of: the now we have. We've all been dead for billions of years and then our consciousness came to be. The only thing that matters to us is when we are conscious, a state of being that's only found in a relatively tiny amount of mass in our universe. Appreciate it and its manifestation in others. There's little time to waste.

The fact that you even believe that YOUR God is evil enough to let die for ever people who didn't believe in him nor never even heard of him just shows how religions are insane and deeply evil. I don't believe a single second that if there is indeed a form of conscious creator, a form of after life (I really hope) etc that God will judge us and let the ones that didn't believe just die forever, this is absolutely selfish. We don't even control our beliefs.
@mackymusic6734 жыл бұрын
God didn't create us to just vanish. We can unfortunately die without Christ and be separated from God, but God doesn't want that for you. He wants you to repent, and accept Jesus as your savior.

@IKENAK3 жыл бұрын

@mackymusic6733 жыл бұрын
@@IKENAK Good question Mark. It is a very sad thing, but unfortunately, people can go to hell because they do not believe or (reject) Christ and his saving Grace. God does not want anyone to perish or die, but for all to come to a knowledge of truth. He wants no person, good, or bad to ever die!!! (2 Peter 3:9) Which is why he sent his son to die for our sins. (John 3:16) You see, sin is a result of man disobeying God and we are all born under sin. But God knew this would happen, which is why the universe was created through Jesus. (1 Colossians 1:16) If you believe Jesus died for your sins, then he will set you free from the bondage of sin, and he will bring you back to a relationship with God. This is a lot of info. Ask God to reveal himself to you, and I 100% guarantee that he will help you believe in him. He wants you to be with him, Hell is not a place for his children but a place prepared for the devil and his angels. But yes, those who reject God and Christ's saving grace, will go to Hell. God's plan is that no one perishes. He is a loving God. He has given us the gift of salvation, and it is our choice if we are to accept Jesus' gift, and follow him!
