My favorite woody fragrance is Tam Dao by Diptyque, a very natural smelling "green" sandalwood. I layer it with a touch of vanilla to make it less unisex and I adore it. 🙂

@Chiara Toscano Lovely choice from a great house! I also love Philosykos, that all time woody fig classic. Like Tam Dao, I find it best in EDP form. Should also mention that the Baies candle is one of my guilty little pleasures.

Just a friendly bit of constructive criticism. When doing a list like this you ought to list the names of the perfumes in the description as opposed to links. Love 'Nero Assoluto'😊However, my favourite woody perfume for women has to be Sarah Jessica Parkers "Stash", it is absolutely gorgeous, with that lactonic massoiawood. Niche quality, and a perfume I will never be without😊

@Scorpio Kitty Absolute corker! Only better celeb perfume for me is Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. Massoia is a very rarely encountered ingredient. Only other one that comes to mind would be Paco Rabanne Black XS For Her.

Thanks so much! I feel like all the scents in ulta and Sephora now are just sickeningly sweet. I think the only 2 that weren’t were Versace crystal noir and Gucci bloom. It’s like either super sweet or masculine like dolce and Gabbana light blue intense

I so desperately want a woody perfume, that has cinnamon in it, but NOT vanilla. I hate how plastic and sickly sweet vanilla dominates almost every perfume, completely ruins every woody perfume Ive tried. Is it possible to make my own perfume? Is that a thing in this day and age?

No. They're not wood-forward perfumes. Just because they contain a type of wood doesnt meant they're woody perfumes.

@Sommer Coburn I am not sure about the others but I know they classify Mon Guerlain as a warm gourmand although I do see where you find it to be kind of woody. I have a really hard time describing Mon Guerlain other then it's my absolute favorite perfume everrrr! 🤤

Je préfère largement celui de Cavalli Nero assoluto . Boisé, vanillé, enveloppant ... je sens également un peu de l’encens la chose qui me rappelle l’orient , les mosquées ... celui by the fire place je l’aime moins malheureusement le type de boi ici me pique et me dérange, je sens le même fond que l’Alien mais plus sucrée et vanillée que ce dernier . Une chose certaine, les parfums boisés sont pas faits pour moi .
