But yea man I'm a ase certified mechanic and have been for 8 years working in dealerships and build my own project cars. Displacement is simply bore X stroke. That’s it. OHV or cam in block design has no influence on displacement. Cylinder head combustion chamber CC and cam location do not change your displacement. Bore times stroke equal displacement . OHV, DOHC, V rod, push rod, heads on, even with the heads off, whatever, your displacement is simply your bore times your stroke.

The only time it did was when Mercedes cheated with the SLS and included the head cc in their calculation. Which even then that doesn't matter, power is all about airflow not

No way dude! My push rod 2.5 liter grew up to a 4.0 liter and all I did was bolt a set of dual over head cam five valve heads on it. Bam! +1.5 L Next time I’m going to grind and hog out my combustion chambers, probably get another .5 liter of displacement easy. You can dish your pistons for even more space if you need major displacement. Matt has talked ALL about it before and obviously he totally understands it. I mean the dude spends millions on cars, plus he is gAYy. Who is going to argue with him??

harleys make a lot less horsepower, but what they do make is torque. That's why they're so pleasent to ride on the highway. Where other bikes are BUZZING at super high RPM to make tons of horse power, harleys cruise are a fairly low RPM. very comfortable

Not just Wyoming, but the Midwest (if you wanted to Call it that) in general is quite nice. I live in Minnesota and my grandpa lives in Wyoming so we go visit him once in a while and the whole way along the way from MN, IA, SD, NE, WY, the people are all pretty much the same. The farther west you go though the more cowboy types you see though, which is to be expected.

​@@BobBob-fp5fn Yep. Sportster Evo also came in 1100 for a short bit. Ironhead came in 883 and 1000. I am young, but I've never seen any of the sportsters measured in cubic inch. The only sportster's ive seen in cubic inch are 88 and 90 cubic inch kits that hammer makes for the sportster evo's.

in the UK atleast harley seem to be trying too hard to appeal to the next generation. even pushing with "free" training and tests for none riders with a purchase. its got a great history but even doing what it does best, triumph does it better.

One time I was in Southern California and I I would try to pick up women at the dispensaries and they, I kid you not, all told me that they were in open relationships upon asking if they were taken. I’m completely turned off by California. Fast forward to a time I was in kansas, and the first two chicks invited me to smoke weed with them and their family, made steaks, showed me their project cars. I had a blast. So now I live in utah. @@WoodysGamertag everybody told me what I’m gonna tell you.. just get the regular 300rrs. I bought a 390race edition cause I thought I knew better and the first time I got on my buddies 300 I fell absolutely in love with it! The cross trainer is a cool concept but the suspension setup they use on those is just kinda bleh compared to the Sachs setup on the rest of them. But don’t let the whole two stroke thing throw you off for a woods or road bike cause I did and ended up with my four stroke that way and while it’s AMAZING and by far the best ownership experience I’ve ever had with a bike because it’s a beta and the support they offer is second to none for the aftermarket, I still wish every day I had got the 300 two stroke. It’s just phenomenal, the power delivery can be completely bonkers or as tame and calm as a tractor! It’s just unreal. If you want one though forewarning you’re gonna want a seat concepts seat for it the factory seats are 2x4’s and seat concepts is backed out 8-10 weeks right now. So order the seat before you do the bike! And thanks for replying, you’re like one of my hero’s man.

The XR650L is a dual sport. It's literally street legal with turn signals and emissions for all 50 states. It does look like the XR600R soon which it is based but the engine meets emissions and it's been out for probably 30 plus years.
