Yes 6000 coils have not been available for some time, but Zed coils have still been coming through.

I had a go at your pinpointer build, itll come in quite handy for checking the hole before backfill. Gold sheds gold. Im thinking a double wrap, simular format, with a shorter ferrite, would produce quite a handy small coil. Thanks for your efforts.

Definitely food for thought, if you need heavy ironstone gravels let me know I can drop tubs of after I run them through my clean up sluice. My local creek where I hunt is so heavy with ironstone I cannot use my poor little GM1000.
