I would like to test this unit, but there are no mounting holes or any kind on mounting bracket. This means there'll have to be a lot of jury rigging which I can do without. Any advice? Also, have you come across any supplier of a gearbox to speed up a slow-moving drive input?

I noticed that the 600 watts one comes with a bracket...the case on it has 6 bolts. The bracket uses 3 of the bolts which must be longer than the others, I guess. I wonder what people do when they get one and there's no way to fasten it. Also there's no keyway in the shaft to keep the blades hub from slipping. I have a Honda 200 watts PMA, 47 years old, and it has a woodruff key . Too many things wrong with this one.

Something aint right. There are 3 wires meaning 3 phase power. When you pull and generate power the light bulb shouldnt have stable power at all times. It should blink ever so slightly. This is why 3 phase is there in the first place to stop blinking power from peak to peak therefore to try and give a straight almost constant power.

I like all the tested devices except when it comes to charging 12V lead acid battery (as shown in video) with 18.5V charge voltage. Maximum charging voltage for 12V battery is (usually, almost all of lead acid type) not more than 14.4V at 0.1C at maximum initial current. Any higher voltage and current other than that will damage and burn the battery. Use 14.5V or 14.6V voltage regulator to charge 12V lead acid battery. And actually, lead acid must be floating voltage at 13.5V~13.8V for a long period of time. It won't take any charging once it fully charged and need to "float" at that voltage. Otherwise, the battery will damage or even burn or explode.

That is easy, Yes. As long as you have the blades to catch the wind vertically, absolutely. There are in fact commercially available vertical wind turbines based on this principle. Just as and fyi, this would be good for a hydro electric option too.
