Great video, Im glad I ran across your channel. Finally someone who actually knows what they are doing! I saw some poorly connected wind turbine videos saying the product was poor. Education obviously helps. Lol My favorite was the testing on the roof of a car ( I just purchased the same model) there was about ten feet of romex, probably 14-3 coiled up in the seat connected to the meter and battery. Hmm I wonder why the output sucked? Lol. The turbine I have says 600w but looks identical to the one you just showed. ( I took mine apart too ) even the same off red wires. Look forward to exploring your channel ! Thanks!

I'm somewhat surprised that you said it matched the rated output. The maximum speed for a wind turbine is reckoned to be somewhere around 600 RPM, yet you had the generator running at 2000 RPM and it didn't blow the 40W lamp? It looks like in a real world application the generator would struggle to produce maybe 40W. I do acknowledge though that the bell wire sized extension wires that you used for both the three phase and DC to the lamp too would cause a fair voltage drop at the current draw of a few amps, and thus reduced power at the lamp...

We are going to a future video, where the power output will be tested differently.

It is the same as car alternator - 12 poles and possibly 36 slots - not much, car starts to charge from 700 rpm. For low rpm you have to have more poles. I am building with hub motor stator, it has 27 slots for 30 magnets, coils alternate direction with 3+3+3 slots per 10 magnets, I think it must work better fot low rpm

You can't "blow" the 40W lamp :D the generator won't push more current than the voltage and combined resistance define. If you spin faster the voltage goas up and the current drops. The only way to "blow" your lamp is if the peak voltage exceeds the rated voltage of the lamp for a substantial amount of time.

How much wind pushes as quickly as a drill; Looks like a Mains powered Drill so 240V to 12 to 5 volts

Looks very similar to a car alternator stator. What was the height of it? Looked like 20 mm.

Did you ever find a way to get tension at the axle with two discs connected at the rim? Its been a while since I have explored this topic and I don't think I'd be able to find it just by browsing your videos.

Very interesting, it’s weird that the Chinese don’t provide some videos with some depth to them about their products? Usually on KZbin there about 8 to 15 seconds. Appreciate your review!

Is it possible to go from thé dc system back to tree fase? I have An vevor and it's only two wires and not very effectieve.. i thought first ti use a buck booster but it interfears with thé controler. So i was thinking why not rewire and go back to tree phase or is that not done!? Thank you greetz

hello, nice video , thank u so much , but i have one comment plz, u was saying in the title that the rectifier transform Ac to 12v Dc , but thats not what happened, in the video the rectifier transform voltage to 30v Dc and 60 v Dc later on, so to be carefull, this output Dc should not be connected to batteries ..thank u

These pmg’s are rated for 750 RPM. I’m not seeing the advertised requirements being met.

Why a "wind turbine generator? All practical tests of ground-based small wind turbines show: 1) They hardly produce any electricity! 2) They do not last long! Electricity yield is proportional to third power of wind speed: +100% wind generates +800% more electricity! But close to ground: 0 constant wind, but extreme gusts! *Due to extreme price decline solar panels generate at least 10 times more electricity with the same investment in time & money!* Unfortunately not at night and in winter! But reliable && maintenance-free for 25 y+! But 9 out of 10 small wind turbines stop working after just a few years due to the extremely gusty winds close to ground.
