i just love how every vod review he says almost the same few tips that everyone gets wrong, but always says something completely new that maybe was intuitive to some, but woohoojin puts it into words and more digestible so we understand why the things we do actually works. I have been avoiding using my ult as well because I am terrified of messing it up and wasting it. I suggest you push yourself to use your ult more often, because then you'll learn how to actually use it, at least thats what im doing/hoping for. If you dont wanna in comp, you can play spike rushes, or unrateds. You can easily get ult in spike rush, and the rounds are so short that you kinda have to use it the round you get it, or the next round. Plus if you fumble your ult, so what. Its spike rush. 10:45 I'm not fully understanding the decision tree in taking the "checkmate" fight, what factors do you take into consideration? I don't get why it would be okay for him to take the fight in the +1 scenario, but not in this +2 scenario. Only reasoning I can come up with for the +2 scenario is that P(round) is much greater than P(fight) = 50%, so you just want to tuck and wait for your teammates. But for the +1 scenario, I think I would almost always tuck instead of giving the 50% fight that could result in a 1v1 scenario against my teammate. Also, just to confirm, is "checkmate" just considered any situation where we have 2 players up (even 5v3)?

a +2 is virtually a guaranteed round if you dont die. now say you get a kill that results in a +1. the round is still very much up in the air, and you WOULD want to take that fight to increase your odds to a +2 for a guaranteed round. after getting the kill that results in a +1, you do not want to give the enemy time to react/think of a plan/get positioning while you are hiding. momentum

Update: I am once again floating at 0/100 Platinum Turns out having high dpi FUCKS with your UI because the sens you have doesnt translate into anywhere else so I had to adjust the dpi to sens ratio mid-game I am now at 1000dpi and 0.4~ ish sens, which translates to a reasonable 400 edpi I tried out my old sensitivity (1500 edpi) and holy shit, it is FAST, I cant believe I climbed three whole divisions in a single month like this Yesterday I had an extremely unlucky game 💀 but hey i kept trying and thats what counts It was a fun game all things considered coz the team understood and i was so unlucky i found it comedic
