who here thinks cloaks should become popular again?

Let's MAKE them popular. I wear mine out occasionally when it's cold.. I could care less if I get strange looks. I can't imagine I look any LESS ridiculous than half of these dudes with man buns and skinny jeans..

i wish i could wear my plash palatka out in public

I made my own "cardigan" with a big hood on it. I get strange looks, but I honestly don't care. Denmark is a small country, but people here will stare at anything that's out of the ordinary. I wear medival style pants too that are loose in the top half, but tied or tight near the feet. Looks like a pair of Shaolin monk pants, I just love the added freedom of movement. And the addition of my hood just makes me stand out so much more, which isn't the point, but I just wear what I want. I mainly make a living from home, which means I don't have to dress a certain way for my boss. Halloween was fun since no one seemed to care, except people would take pictures of me openly because they thought it was some kind of costume 😂 Be brave and bold. Life is not about making random strangers content. I've heard all the jokes, it only gets funnier when you confront people who make random remarks (not confronting them aggressively, of course. But playing along, people usually just think they're funny)

Just used your trick sitting outside at 20º (in a chair). Put the hood so there was only a little crack for fresh air, so the damp cold air was warm by the time I breathed it. Didn't want to go out in the damp today, so thanks for keeping me outside. Later it will be raining.

Beautiful! I’m Choctaw and most indigenous Americans wear blankets whether Pendleton or Whitney Point. I love them so much I don’t wear coats anymore unless I’m kayaking. Truly the wool is the best technology

Nice technique. I watched a few other wool blanket systems, and they all were poking holes in their blankets, to keep it shut. I knew there was a better way. Thanks!

Check out the reallybigmonkey1 video about the subject. Apparently there are 3-4 different ways to pin a blanket without poking a hole in it.

Thank you. I just got a few wool blankets so I can go out into the bush and meditate, wool would be so much better than my sleeping bag. less room, less wieght, good insulation and dryness factor. Also, good for a pack system for the second blanket, wrap belongings fold and sling over shoulder. Thanks for sharing, was helpful, have been playing with my blanket today to feel how comfortable it will be.Especially to block mosquitoes..

Super cool! I love the blending of the old ways into a new and improved 'old way'. :-D So is that a common thing to sew the two blankets together? Keep up the great work, brother!

Hey Rev, just stumbled across this Vid and found it really excellent info on a new but seemingly beneficial clothing option for the Western mind especially for Wilderness/Bushcraft but also could be easily adaptive to a Tactical Role. Just curious about the Coat as I didn't quite catch the name and if there's a Link that'd be awesome. Between the Blanket/Robe and the Coat one has essentially a four-season adaptive option. Thanks again and Gods Bless.
