Wool Talks 03: Ultimate Textile | Brooklyn Tweed

Meet Rocky Guarriello of Ultimate Textile, Inc, the Rutherfordton, North Carolina textile mill that skein dyes and finishes many of our yarns, including Arbor, Peerie, and Shelter.
Rocky grew up in the family dye business in Rhode Island along with his brothers before moving south to open Ultimate Textile in 1995, bringing his hands-on work ethic to everything from pouring concrete to designing custom-made dyeing equipment.
From the beginning, Rocky was determined to make Ultimate Textile a great place to work - and it shows. The average Ultimate employee has worked there for over 20 years - and Rocky's son and grandson are both carrying on the family tradition.
We're proud to work with Ultimate Textile and the other members of our resilient textile supply chain of skilled tradespeople and multi-generational family businesses: the ranchers, scourers, dyers, spinners, and designers who make Brooklyn Tweed yarns possible.
