Also i just wanna disclaim that i may have bent the truth with the whole beer vending machine because you cant buy alcoholic beer from a public vending machine but they do have shops where you can go in and buy a beer from a vending machine. Also im back in Australia now, sadly wasnt able to land a bass but did get a hookup and saw it on the surface aswell so i guess ill just have to take that.

@@fishermansdiary yea picked it up right up in the weeds, caught me by surprise because I was having no luck so didn't land the best hookset. It ran out to the open water (weirdly not into the weeds?) and after a few seconds brought it up to the surface to see it was maybe low 30s high 20s bass but that's when it shook its head and spat the hook. Understatement to say I was mad after all that time fishing but in a completely new fishing environment you can only try your best.
