Green is not usually a good guy color though, green flames specially are associated with stuff like toxicity, acid or the dead. Ash is a perfect example, you can see his flames are kinda liquid and the patterns he has on his clothes are not like flames but kinda bubbly, all of this makes you think that his flames don't burn through heat but chemically.

Just look at Guilty Gear XX, that game has 5 updated versions, only one of these adds characters (2 of them) and other REMOVES 2 characters that were reintroduced in the next update. Most of these updated versions are just balance chances, good ol times huh?
