Sorry I wasn't with you last week but Mr W and I were suffering from a nasty cold. We are now fighting fit and I can show you what I've been up to. I finished my great tits socks using Mothy and the Squid sock yarn. This is a variagated hand died yarn. Self striping yarn is specially designed to make a pattern on a sock. It doesn't work if you use it to make something else, like a shawl. It's important to know if you have self striping or variagated yarn 😎.
I've make all the pieces of my jumper I started back in the New Year. I used short row shaping to make the shoulder edge straight and easier to sew up. It's a really useful technique to for shaping shawls and garments and it quite easy to master.
