Hi everyone (from a very cold UK now I’m home!). There’s always so much to learn in wet felting (and doesn’t Living Felt always provide us with wonderful inspiration!). I’ve just started a silk painting course so I can create my own silk fabric designs and use them in nuno felting on a ball projects! Looking forward to more inspiring Wooly Wednesdays (and Wooly other days of the week)!❤

I have missed Wooly Wednesday , like a friend who moved far away. Thank you for returning. I’m currently enrolled in Felted Fungi Workshop out of the UK. Personal goals for felting in 2025- learning and applying different techniques, upcycling past projects to create an amazing piece of art, learning to felt clothing , turning intimidation ( ugh The Vest that I’ve yet to start) into curiosity using the -It Really Doesn’t Matter Until it Does Method”. Thank you Living Felt Community!!

disappointed that I missed the 2025 premiere this afternoon. It was great to see Marie and all the faiies ss well ss Natasha in Spain. I am sooo excited about all the new ideas, themes as well as as the addition of "Felting Friday"! I have a few bucket list challenges for this year... 1.... make an 18" mermaid for my youngest granddaughter's bedroom 2.... complete ALL the tutorials I have signed up for. 3. send in some pics of completed work. ( I am so bad at that!) 4. figure a way to sell some of my work - My shelves, walls and closets are overflowing!

Wooly Bucket list huh? SO.MANY.THINGS.!😁 More Patty Barker scarves! 🎉 I really would like to tackle a 3-D landscape, possibly a mountain waterfall scene. And, since I've not made but one simple needle felted critter, I'd like to try something a bit more challenging - I love cats! 😸 Happy New Year to you all!🌟

My goal is to do as many of my classes as I can, the next one I'm starting tomorrow is Breakwater Beach. I want to experiment more with Laura Ricks style which I love. Tacking down the fiber then wet felting it then additional needle felting. A lot more bowls of course, some birds, try a wet felt scarf, wet felt pillows, there's so much I want to do, I need to start writing it all down. I am so hooked on this and having a blast! Thanks Marie, I learned it all because of you!
