I made this cardigan for my 4 and 10 year old daughters to wear on Easter Sunday. I did it all in a light green color because the blouse they will wear is white with green and pink flowers. It was my first project alone and the cardigans were beautiful. The video is wonderful made, the explanations are very clear and detailed. Thank you so much for the video and the time it took you to do it. I plan to do some more of your lovely projects for my daughter's. Have a good day.

hi did you add extra stitches for your 10 yr olds cardigan ?
@vaniaduarte44122 ай бұрын
@@sanaahmed6714 Hi. Yes I added it. If I remember correctly I made the first round with the measurement I needed for the neck and started from there following the video. It's funny because today my youngest, who turns ten in February, took this coat that I made for my oldest to school. There are funny things.

Tysm for your tutorials, I am a fan and have recommended your channel to other crocheters. Woollywonders I think I may of solved the problem of my count being 111 dc, where your count is 110 dc. In the tutorial you say ch2 at the start of the row is classed as a dc.. so dc 17 more dc which will give you 18dc for the first front of cardigan. Then miss 20 sts , then dc into the next 35 sts which is the back. Then miss 20sts, ...next you say dc into remaining sts which is 17dc. This is where the mistake is As I see it. There should be 18 dc to mirror the other front..so you should do your 18th dc into the top of the last turning chain. 111dc in total ty hun for all that you do 😁

I actually made this - my very first attempt at a garment - I am a 'newbie' and have only made blankets and scarves before - I thought I would have a go - I even managed the stars !! (it all looked very confusing) your tutorial has to be the easiest I have followed, I was going to give up as I felt useless at new stitches etc, but all my stitches were exactly the same at the 'end count' so I knew i was doing it correctly ! The sleeves got a bit confusing as I wasn't sure if I had to turn on every round? I did turn and all worked out perfectly! Thank you for you tutorial, I now feel I can do more things........ I have now subscribed to your channel, so look forward to trying new things.

Great job showing the steps to make this crocheted cardigan... great pace speaking and crocheting as you went along. The only thing I think you failed to mention or emphasize was to FLIP your work when you crocheted each round for the sleeves. Being an experienced crocheter, I immediately noticed that I wasn't getting the pattern or texture of the stitches like in the body of the cardigan, so I only had to flog about two rows to correct that mistake. Otherwise, VERY EASY pattern as you mentioned... love making the "Star" stitch! I just SUBSCRIBED and LIKED this video.

My first attempt at a sweater. It actually looks like a sweater...so far! I have found that even the 6.5 (K) hook makes it too wide for a four year old, if I had found a 7 hook I'm sure it would have been even wider. Next time I will use a smaller hook and place a stitch marker in the first skipped chain for making the arm holes...I think it would be much easier to know which stitch to begin in.Great tutorial, lovely sweater. Look forward to making more.

The only part that went a bit wrong for me was that the seams on my sleeves didn't stay in a straight line, they went diagonal down the sleeve, I don't know what I did wrong. It wasn't noticeable at all though and the cardigan still looks good.
