How to crochet a pretty lace sleeve baby top / sweater

This step by step tutorial will show you how to crochet a cute baby top / sweater with lace sleeves.
For size 0 - 3 months use a 3.5mm crochet hook
For size 3 - 6 months use a 4mm crochet hook
For size 6 - 12 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
For my baby top I used a 4mm crochet hook and 1 ball of Drops Baby Merino yarn (fine weight).

Really enjoyed making this sweater along with your video. After joining the body of the sweater, I slip stitched about 4-5 stitches to get under the arm for a hidden seam.

I’ve just made this beautiful top for my granddaughter but I’m struggling how to hdc the button hole border. I’m struggling whether to do this with the top inside out or the right way. I’m a beginner and this is the first item of clothing I’ve done that’s turned out lovely. Thank you for how you do your tutorials.
