It's a really fun tier even if it's not EXTREMELY challenging. Probably the best first raid tier of any raid thusfar imo

@@aratabhist i like where the teir fits inside of dawntrail's overall content. ex 1 is really easy, ex 2 slightly harder, then savage feels like it continues that trend getting slightly harder with each fight. tho i do agree that it couldve been a BIT harder, but as an intro teir to raiding its perfect imo (also hard content next patch so we dont gotta worry)

i just notice that the m4s enrage does not do max damage. so in theory it might be possible to live through it(though the game might just force reset the fight anyway). then again the only class that has a chance to survive is blue mage if it goes through tank inuvln.

The green dot next to the number means it's dark/true damage. It ignores all mitigation and debuffs, only shields stop it. They intentionally make it so high that you cannot possibly shield through the damage on-level.

I gotta say this wasn't a really fun race to spectacte from a personal perspective, there really wasn't too much for analysts to cook, I saw a lot of "we got to X fight but it's pretty much all solved already follow my callouts" which is understandable, you are racing, but aside from quadbomb special in m3 and the m4 transition there were rarely any big "oooo" hype moments from fight to fight really. Maybe It's just been too long since the last 1st tier savage race in Asphodelos for me to remember how it went down but I remember enjoying following the asphodelos and edens gate races. Maybe now that we've been through DSR, TOP, Abyssos and Anabaseios in the last 2 years returning to a more barebones tier feels weird. Definitely no knock on the fights, I've only done M1 and a little bit of M2 but they seem to be enjoyable encounters if anything and I don't mind a bit of an easier time after the comparative (harrowing) hell we have been put through the last 2 years. Although the strat landscape for each fight seems like a nightmare for PF rn.
