The left shift of my Wooting feels a bit mushy, I've tried replacing the switches with the one they provided. So I'm guessing it's probably the stabilizers. Do you think it's overlubed or is it something else? I'm fairly new with modding keyboards. Thanks!

Oh no! Yea it sounds like it might be a stabilizer issue. I would try to change those up

Actually you might just want to clean the lube they applied from factory off then apply your own lube. You can reference my latest video to show you how I did it. But I did it for a keyboard that requires soldering. This one you don’t have to get that complicated

Maybe because I got one of the new batch, it sounds better and nothing like the one you unboxed. Maybe they dampened it. Just checked now. It seems like it. The keycap puller is now different with a switch puller. Double sided.

Just bind the right shift, fn, right ctrl, and menu buttons to arrow keys, that's what I did and it works perfectly.

@@Scoutingg idk if you already did it but the kb's built-in function layer lets you to hold down fn and use the alt, menu, ctrl and ?/ keys for arrow keys without binding

i'd suggest a drunk deer keyboard. has the same level of rapid trigger capabilities and is cheaper, but isn't the amazing level overall that the wooting is. still a great keyboard esp for the price but it doesn't have the easy customization and everything else that makes wooting so great.

I was looking for a new keyboard for "Gaming" and was considering a Wooting. But, as a custom keyboard freak, the sound was not good at all... I decided to go with the ROG Azoth as the board offers a bunch of features all while still being able to customize it. And to be honest, unless you are playing competitively or need precise inputs, you don't really need these kind of switches for gaming.

the switches are not what makes wooting special, but rather their PCB together with their HE software.
