Are you going to offer the raw zinc alloy as a fully assembled version eventually? I would love for that to be an option even if it means selling that color for a higher cost to make up for the logistics of offering it.

The RAW case is very experimental, it's going to be a hate it or love it. If it's popular enough, we'd consider make it pre-assembled, otherwise it's there for the niche. Sales-wise, we do notice the interest in the case, and are motivated to explore this further for now.

just being curious, could I put the compostable bags out in my garden compost after opening the keyboard or how does it work with compostable material in packaging.

These bags are compostable in your garden compost. There are different levels of compostability, the basic level is industrial, meaning it needs a specific environment (usually higher temperatures) that a garden compost can't provide to initiate the process, the more advance level is where you can put it in your garden compost. We will have a mark on the bags that it's possible to put in the garden compost, while others are industrial compostable (such as the blister outside is made of PLA).

i have a question i had a coiled cable , can i use it with 8k poling or is there a way that i can recognise that if it cant handle the transfer of data between pc and 80he ?

It should be fine, but the cable quality does matter to the stability of the keyboard. The major issue with long cables is that can't supply a stable voltage, you need to make the line thicker to compensate for the length, quality cables do so, cheap cables save costs here. The data transfer packets are so small, we don't need anything fancy. The 80HE has a few new hardware implementations that would allow us to compensate for low quality cables providing less than required voltage. But it's not a catch all.

Can we change the brightness of the LED bar? I'm a no-RBG guy, no window on the side of the PC, RBG on keyboard turned off. I'm okay with the LED bar, but I'd really like it to be subtle.

It's a good start. However my criticism: LED placement is not so discrete and a bit of an island of its own. Some like that some don't. Could have integrated that standalone LED in the spacebar key, from the side or edge. Could have made the LED stripe to be a background light instead, no sight of it completely hidden but easily seen from the edges of the keyboard from underneath. Now it's a miniscule detail that isn't enough to make me dislike it as a whole, but what I want is a 60HE design but with the Function row keys added, no side keys on the right. And think about how you could be different for a workstation/battlestation who also has stream deck with hwinfo displaying and other functions. It's a keyboard which you have already revolutionized wonderfully, so I'm thankful for that.

It can, but aesthetically if you have a dark colored case, it's obviously there. Hence we're trying to get a dark colored LED bar as well, but it's challenging since it changes the light effect as well.

We've often had the request, and while we do have some ideas, we want to focus on our core products as there is still room for significant improvements. As the team grows, we might have the capacity to run a mouse in paralel.

I definitely feel like not using a screen on the keyboard was a good idea. I love a screen on a keyboard but Wooting (imo) best feature are the switches that clearly are for gaming. If im gaming i'm not looking at a screen on my keyboard.

"Biodegradable" comes in many forms. Some can only be degraded under very specific circumstances, like a high temperature compost which can only be found in industry recycling. Which did you choose?

Our minimal requirement is industrial compost (high temperature), the bags (and zip bag) with all the accessories are garden compostable, the "plastic" wrap around the box is industrial compost. The latter we're taking a look if we can push it to garden compost.

We have an Analog SDK for reading and using the analog values for each key. And a RGB SDK that allows you to control all the LED. The bar will be part of this. When it comes to indications, we're also working on either separate SDK or integrate with RGB. This is for further down the line.

When we allow more flexible profile use and control, not defaulting to the digital, you're going to have an increasingly difficult time to distinguish your profile. Else, it's not for everyone, 1 profile is often all you need.

A screen in this phase would over complicate our soft- and hardware development, and for the requirements unnecessarily increase cost (=price). Since we develop everything in-house, we don't outsource firmware development nor use off-the-shelve integrated solutions, which you'd often find on any other screen enabled keyboard. And also one of the the reasons why screen enabled keyboards often has a poor implementation, usability, or feel sluggish. We opted for the LED because it's easier to implement using knowledge we built with the UwU and allow us to spend more time and focus on the fundamental software part for any LED bar or screen: Indications. Once we nail this, it's an easy translation to any screen.... just replace the colors for text :)

I don't know if I'm alone here, but the only thing that's keeping me from buying a 60HE or 80HE is the lack of wireless connectivity. If the 80HE comes with a 2.4G dongle, (That doesn't effect response times in a meaningful way,) then I will buy it as soon as possible. that would this already pricy keyboard even more expensive by adding a battery, receiver, and dongle. plus they put a lot of work into the extremely fast 8kz polling rate and a wireless connection would introduce latency.

Now on it causing more latency. I see why you would think so, but we see that the wireless connectivity on most gaming mice now days is often better then wired mice in latency. I was user of gimmick keyboard, which I regret it, and I beg you don't put too much visuals gimmicks for your keyboard, for example small screen is too much for a keyboard. Led bar is okay since its can just shows what mode you're on like oldies keyboard's numpad/scroll/caps indicator. thing is, we touch type keyboard, not looking at it. So, screen on keyboard is actually gimmicks that you only see it once and you will forget about it.

Yes, agreed. A screen becomes more useful when you start to bring the keyboard to other (new) environments and need to modify (complicated) settings on the fly. Something that will become increasingly common with an analog keyboard in the future and you the use is not only for PC... but also consoles for example.

I recommended this company to a friend, he bought the keyboard and other things, the money has already been deducted from his account, but the product is still paused due to payment verification, he has already sent the photo with the purchase requirements, so far no one of this company spoke out. Total nonsense in my opinion. Once you put the money in your pocket, screw the customer. I do not recommend this company to anyone else.

Sorry to hear this. If your order is on hold for payment verification (this happens when there is reason to believe it's fraudulent), then you card was also not charged the amount, it was only authenticated. If verification isn't completed within a certain period of time, this authentication expires, and the amount is available to you again. Payment verification can't be completed by anybody within the CS team, therefore it can take a few days to complete, and reply.

Wooting is famous in gaming most probably. Most of the gamers are from Valorant Community or FPS Game Community. So can you add Function where LED bar shows indications for like SPIKE Planted or timer to defuse the spike. @wooting
