I think only comment I would have is that the idea for the collectable keycaps was insanely good, but I feel the art is kind of lacking on some of the designs, tbh its extra anyways so I am happy with all of this. U guys are doing gods work I hope other companies take example of this!

I love these style development videos where it goes more in-depth into the actual development process and stages! My only concern for the keypad (which I saw happen in one of the demonstration videos) is it moving and sliding during use. Obviously it's a lot harder to stabilize a keypad over a keyboard, but I'm hoping I won't have to add tape to the bottom of this one like I had to do for my last one.

We've continuesly looking for improvement, and as of now the silicone pad seems to be doing pretty solid. Both when we tried it and when other people tried on Wootup. Once we send out DVT samples towards pro-players we will gather more info on this and see how it holds up! :)

That's literally the reason why I lubed my wooting even tho haven't planned doing it in the beginning. I was swapping springs for 50g and if you are disassembling everything why not also lube it

really love what you guys are doing with this! im really excited to see the finished product! one concern i have is if it would be able to stay in place when im tapping. when i use other keypads, it is often necessary to have the sticky pad in the button that you put on your desk to prevent it from moving around. but it is often tedious because i would have to move my deskmat out of the way since it does not really stick that well on it. would this be able to stay in place without a sticky pad on my mousepad? i'm really curious about this

It has a complete silicone pad underneath, we changed the surface to be polished so it has additional stick. These type of silicone bottoms can create slight suction and otherwise need only a little pressure to stick really well, while when pushing it from the side you can still slide it around. All that said, on a mousepad it's always difficult unless you want to damage the mousepad with something that hooks into it.

I think it would be really nice if there was very little or no plastic for the packaging. Makes it better for the environment as paper based packaging can be much more easily recycled.

We are are actually actively working on this - we aren't where we want to be - but for the UwU we used paper pulp tray to hold the device instead of a plastic blister et al. We also aim to minimize amount of plastic bags and make sure plastics in there can be repurposed.

Just preordered competition. I’m considering putting out a review comparing this keypad to the alphatec Helios, since I’m probably one of the only people who bought all three. I hope that the quality of the wooting product is good enough to justify costing as much as a full board.

The development of the Wooting UwU probably is the reason why the keyboard isn't in stock yet. If they didn't start making the keypads, the keyboards would probably be in stock right now. However I think most of us don't mind that since they're making a keypad specifically towards osu! players.

The US will change to in-stock tomorrow, we're currently processing the change. The EU having stock, the date is stil accurate but ironically the closer we get, the faster it goes out. I expect in-stock by 15-20th May, from there the times are short or in-stock. UwU development is not impacting this.

Linear switches are cool, but please make tactiles as well? It might be useless with rapid trigger but it's not like everyone will use rapid trigger 24/7. Please ateast make some that can be bought seperately that are compatible with the keypad :P
