This is an excellent series of videos which clearly explains Word. Although there are some minor irritations (such as referring to a dictionary as a directory and 2010 as 210), I especially appreciate that David takes us through each step in the sequence - AND then explains it again to cement it in our brains. It was a good review as well as introducing concepts I never knew about - such as changing effects for pictures in Word. Well done!

Hi, Thank you for your tutorial. FYI - around 10:40, when you talk about ordering cells in ascending and descending order according to "Value of Sales" numbers, it does not work on the video. The order is 8, 3, 7, 2 or vice versa (depending on whether it is in ascending or descending order).

Very good easy to follow tutorial! What if I have a cell in a table that is a heading and I want this heading to be included in my TOC? e,g. your sample "Protecting against computer virus infection" cell? I've tried different ways but I couldn't seem to add to my TOC a header in a table. Thanks!

Fantastic tutorial, one question though. How do you align inserted images into a table i.e. if you are using the table to outline a sectioned illustration and each section has been numbered. The numbers used in the illustration are images and to ensure consistency in your document the same images are used in the table. What I found was the images would not centre in the cell. Any thoughts?

David amazing set of videos - any idea or solutions for tables jumping around on the page?
@biondatiziana8 жыл бұрын
+Anthony Evans I hope you've already found this info, but in case you haven't, don't use the Around option for the Text Wrapping feature on the Table tab (1st tab) in the Table Properties dialog box.

Hi David thank you for your video. I have a question, how would I go about copying and pasting only "selected rows" from a table in microsoft to another new page with table/cell and content? These rows are not in order, for example, couple rows from page 1, and another couple from page 2, when I select these rows that are not after one another and try to paste it into another page, it only copies the contect and not the table that is in, how could I do this? I'm using Microsoft word 2007.
