If you mean the dimensions to find the minimum area, then that's because the minimum area would be 0. Imagine that I took the fencing and created a long enclosure that was really thin. So thin, in fact, that nothing could fit inside of it. That would be the minimum area. The dimensions of such an enclosure would be 0 by 300.
