Hi Lindsey! I couldn’t sleep I have critters outside my window tonight so went on KZbin and came across this word study video YAY! Can I JUST say how much I agree with you were referencing the scripture James 2:19 and mentioned accepting Christ in a large group setting. I wondered about this myself even as I type this now I’ve typed I’ve backed spaced. I feel those people are losing out on the whole experience of accepting Christ in their heart and making Him their Lord and Savior. That’s my belief, everyone has their own personal experience and I know my experience was different and so very special. I accepted Christ on March 15, 2001 ❤ Thank you for the great word study.

Sounds like your yard is as busy as ours at night 😆 I completely agree about missing out on some of the intimacy of coming to Christ when it’s done in a crowd type environment. I know He’s done it though (we see examples during Jesus’ earthly ministry) but I think some modern day churches make it too much about emotions and numbers unfortunately.

@@LindseyDecor YES!! Agreed!! Also, in yesterday’s study when you shared your story with the gentleman at the store, and regarding “church hurt”.. I feel that too is more a thing unfortunately. My Husband and I have had the same experience and we have been in the process or prayer to find another church. That has been a challenge. Anyway enjoy your weekend hope you are able to relax. I’m continuing to pray for your Son and family. 🙏🏼💕

@@sgarcia7351 Church hurt is some of the worst. We went through that many years ago and it was so very painful. It took us a couple years to finally land at the church we are at now and I'm so thankful that we did and am actually thankful for the season of hurt. We can now look back and see that this church is much more mature and focused on the Word. I'll be praying that you can find a new church family to help heal that hurt.
