Word To The Wise - Hadestown animatic

It's finally done! Word To The Wise was one of the first songs I wanted to make an animatic of but I've never got to that. But last month I finally got to see Hadestown on West End and got the motivation to draw the thing. The whole thing took me little less than a month and a looooot of drawings. You can see me giving up and getting tired by the end because who could have known but having a lot of characters in the frame is rather exhausting!
The whole thing is drawn in ToonSquid, so far it's the most convenient app for me to use.
I'm pretty happy how the whole thing turned out and I'll appreciate you watching and commenting. Your comments give me the motivation to invest yet another ungodly amount of hours to make new animatics.

I love how this is the first time the fates turn on a god. It shows that even Hades, the most powerful deity we see in the show, is not immune to the effects of fate and consequences

OOOHHH I LOVE How playful the Fates are with him! And he's so annoyed because this is such a serious decision for him but they're treating it like playtime! Showing Persephone being the one saying "heartless man" lyrics is *CHEF KISS* really was an impossible situation for him in that moment

Thank you! I think the fates enjoy the drama! For other peeps it’s life, but for them it’s free entertainment! With Persephone I always wanted to do that because I think Hades would imagine her saying this to him

Thank you! Maybe I’ll do more, I actually sketched a few before: I did How Long and made attempts at doing chant and chant reprise (those two I haven’t finished). Haven’t thought about making Road to Hell 2 though, and so far I don’t have any ideas of how I could make it work xD but maybe one day!
