I've had a lot of bad experiences with hosting companies. Taking money, when i've cancelled services or continuous billing. Now I use a free host, where I don't pay them any money, so they can't take my money without permission. I only use it for testing, and I also have two home servers for testing as well.

Sorry to heat about your past hosts - I've had a couple of slightly dodgy one in the distant past - everything's been great with my current host - fingers crossed!
