Hi, thank you for your video it was helpful. However I still am not sure if it is possible to change the header / footer on only 1 page. I am using the 2022 theme and have 4 pages: Home, about, contact and shop. I wanted to have a different footer on the contact page but keep the footer the same on all other pages. Is it possible to do this as every time I change the footer it changes it for all the other pages as well.

Hello there! First, thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear our video tutorial was helpful. As for the question about different headers/footers for different pages, as far as we know, this can be done with the help of templates and template parts/patterns. First, you will need to create different headers or footers using patterns. Each pattern can be applied to a different template, which can later be applied to a different page. The idea is to have templates with different template parts such as headers and footers. After creating them, you can assign them to various pages of your website.

summary of this video Patterns: Introduced in WordPress 6.3 as a merger of reusable blocks and block patterns. Can be either synced or unsynced. Synced Patterns: Changes made to one instance update all other instances. Ideal for consistent content across the site. Unsynced Patterns: Each instance can be customized independently. Great for repeating layouts with different content. Can be used within a content area, template, or template part. Can be imported and exported. Template Parts: Represent global components of a site, such as headers, footers, and sidebars. Changes apply across all templates using the same template part (similar to synced patterns). Cannot be used inside a content area, only in templates or the site editor. Cannot be imported or exported but can be converted into patterns for theme transfers. Are essentially reusable synced patterns of blocks that represent global components of your site. Key Differences: Location: Template parts are for site structure (headers/footers), while patterns are for content. Scope: Template Parts are only available for use in templates, while Patterns are available in both blog editors and site editors. Syncing: Template parts are always synced, while patterns can be synced or unsynced. Exporting/Importing: Patterns can be imported and exported; template parts cannot. Use Cases: Template Parts: Ideal for site-wide repeated structures like headers and footers. Synced Patterns: Good for content that needs to be updated consistently throughout the site, such as promotional blurbs. Unsynced Patterns: Best for repeating layouts or designs with unique content on each instance, allowing for individual customization of each element.

Hello there! Thank you for your question. While you can add different template parts to the same page without any issues, no theme or Full Site Editor functionality allows you to set a preferred language. So if you wish to turn your single-language website into a multi-language one, you will likely need to use a corresponding WordPress plugin for that.
