I mean... technically, probably not. Cannibalism is eating one's own species, and a lot of different species are being eaten here. On the "Why's Bonnie the only human" question, the victim you play *could* be a human. While their identity is purposefully hidden, you can see their body shape isn't similar to the rest of the animals (which are the standard cutesy teddy bear, Animal Crossing style). Your character is a bit taller, their outline is more akin to human, and their eyes are more detailed unlike the animal characters.

You also get to see the dismembered body parts in the fresh ingredient ending without the redaction, which is mostly hairless in a flesh tone. And quite frankly that looks like a sapient to me.

And it consisted of two front facing eyes, which suggests the specie in question was either a carnivore preying upon others, or an omnivore. Since the skin tone of the nose matches up with the rest of the face, and the ears are located on the two sides of the head so canines,felines,the majority of the mammals and birds are out of the question, furthermore a nose instead of a snout was shown on the carcass so pigs have no business on the head either. Leaving the most plausible option to be a primate. Besides the illustration of the severed head had the dental pattern of what seemingly having molars as the majority, with no highlighted canine tooth unlike the majority of the primates, narrowing down the possible specie down to humans alone. On top of the fact that in the silhouettes showcasing the protagonist entire body structure within the other endings, it has been shown the protagonist also lack a tail in every viewing angle amongst all other things aforementioned. So in conclusion the protagonists overall body and facial structure matches up more with a human , therefore Bonnie is most likely cannibalizing her own kind as well.

There is a bit of Sweeney Todd inspiration here. Also I feel that she not only kidnaps the animal townsfolk but also humans as well. She seems to be the only human around and I sort of suspect that you are a human. You don't have any distinct animal features such as the ears and most obvious is the eyes are way too human like. Furthermore, the possible reason our first person character are shadowed is like a self-insert meaning we put ourselves being in this situation. Further idea is like Danganronpa where the killer is darkened until the reveal except it is the victim in this case.

I love the idea of different perspectives changing depending on the person. When playing as Bonnie you see pastel and a rpg maker theme however when you get into the main characters perspective you only see dark disturbing themes and Bonnie is the only one who’s bright.

A few possibilities... 1. There's also animals like the ones in our world who aren't as sentient as these and are used for meat. Maybe certain species don't get that level of sentience at all, like chickens. 2. They don't know it's meat. It's spelt "meet" and most of the customers are herbivores or, in the case of pandas, vegetarians. There's a dish called mince pies that don't actually have real mince, yet they still call the inside "mincemeat". It's apple and other such fruit. They might think it's like that. The society they live in might even outlaw eating meat, like in BeastStars, but unlike in that show, there's no black market that sells it and the townspeople are mostly blind to what meat actually is. 3. They just ignore it and don't question it at all because Bonnie seems too nice to do something like that and it's kind of a outlandish thing to do, very unlikely...yet as we know, it's the truth. 4. There's a way to get meat through a lab or something similar, like how we can now synthesise meat from blood. In this kind of world it's possible people donate or sell blood to keep up with market demands.

That was a completely normal and cute bakery simulator. I mean animals eat animals all the time. Bears especially eat animals, including other bears. But I will say you'd be surprised to see that some herbivores eat meat. I saw a vid of a horse following a chick, I thought that it was just curious but then it ate the chick alive.

Most herbivores eat meat and are opportunist omnivores, those with hooves just tend to have the highest taste for it, especially deer, they love meat, not just for the proteins, it's such an easy meal to them they actively seek out new carrion whenever they can. Hippos are one of the few exceptions I can think of because meat makes them actively sick, though despite this there are some documentations of them eating it.

Meat is a lot easier to digest than plant nutrients, since it's pre-processed into animal stuff already, so the vast majority of obligate herbivores are animals like pandas and sloths that are cripplingly specialized towards a single food. Idea for a reversal of this game: You serve food to a bunch of cute animals in a restaurant. When you go to get more ingredients, it turns out you're harvesting other cute animals for their meat. The game then speeds up until the player inevitably fails to serve a customer in time... at which point, they turn realistic and eat them instead. Turns out you weren't the villain: this is just how things work in town, and you were trying to stay alive.

The secret ending is amazing! What i love about is the fact that all the living victims survive. Don't believe me? You grab the panda, while the others explore the bakery, saving dog, cat, etc. and also, Bonnie get's a taste of her own medicine.

I'm surprised no one in the village atleast believed the protag a bit, like, atleast you have to see another human besides Bonnie walking around the town several times until you don't see them anymore for a long time, especially Bear mentioning how people have dissapeared without traces. With this logic the townsfolk should atleast get protag to the authorities to confirm so they can investigate Bonnie's bakery But ig Bonnie just looks and sounds too innocent that they didn't put it in mind how she's currently the only human around so far

Reminded me of two stories. The pork bun man who grinded people into pork buns. The butcher shop in fall out new Vegas in a side story where people bought and ate cheap meat that was priced way way lower than what the others stalls were selling. People around free side started to get the jitters and the butcher was caught where underneath the stall had human bones stacked up.

Fallout 1 had some things like that too. One stall vendor sells human meat while pretending it's iguana-on-a-stick, and you can also find his supplier in another town if you investigate the guy's basement. I think the stall vendor gets referenced in New Vegas, actually.

Although I was expecting the cuteness to give way to horror of some sort, I was _not_ expecting that first switch or the _nature_ of it. That was really a stroke of genius on the part of the dev(s). They suck you into the initial "Cooking Mama"-style gameplay by giving you lots of assignments delivered quickly, then *_BAM!_* Not only does it switch from 2D cutesy to 3D horror, but you're also playing as someone _else._ Amazing!
