Okay, yeah, this game definitely needs a sequel or a continuation. My only ideas for it would be the child you play as getting older and being forced to do more labor while confronting their creepy neighbors; and they either manage to leave the apartment and achieve a good life or inevitably become corrupted and end up one of the neighbors.

I love the subtle plot twist as the game makes you think mom is a psycho murderer but basically everyone in the building is insane and mom likely had a breakdown trying to cope with her terrible neighbors and cheating husband

From what I gathered about the woman in the hallways, she had an affair with the boy’s father because when she said “your father is a lucky man” and she says “was” she’s like “Was? Oh I guess you must’ve found out about us” than we hear her say “wait that’s not what you mean? …. YOU PSYCHO BITCH” which means she told her that she murdered the husband, and his lover in a fit of rage attempts to kill the boy…. which is honestly a dumb way to deal with the situation

There were few redeemable characters, and the implied molestation brought me personally back to a place I thought I was stronger than. I was a child who was molested for a long period of time when I would have been this short, and small, by a close family friend. The *sniff sniff* dialog was just visceral in how dark this child's reality was getting. I still wonder what did the old man's wife do to deserve death, it's not clear if he killed his wife or if Kenneths mom killed her, given his speech on murders it's odd. But again the old man seems that he deserves a fleshed out ending, as he tells Kenneth he will be safe, that he will end his mother's insanity.... But yeah, the darkness in this game, it's real darkness not anything anyone was ready for. Because it not only makes you a child, but makes you feel like it.
