People comment how Gary has changed their life and it makes me happy. What a guy to want to change peoples lives for free and be able to connect with them without us not realizing it till it just hits us. Gary didn't just change my life, he SAVED it. Being a veteran with ptsd, there are so many reasons to let it get the best of us. And to have this guy pretty much yell at me the way he did, I did a 180, found a purpose again and laugh at how I let it all get to me before. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you Gary.

You know...I watched this video 1 year ago. I was clinically depressed, on the edge and filled with dark thoughts. I lost all motivation, nearly failed university and scraped it into my last year, my relationship also ended. But I had an ounce of hope in becoming an owner of a business. I watched this video every month. Most of the time I'd watch the video and do nothing, but be pumped, but one day I said no, I'm going to make that change. Fast forward 1 year. I started my business, getting *much* better grades and now doing therapy which is helping so much.I don't want to take my life anymore. I want to live it.

I’ve been working for my dads my business for almost 15 years. My dad started this after he was laid off after almost 30 years working for a big company. He gave me a job and a chance when I was in some of my darkest days, almost lost everything. Me and him had a falling out and didn’t talk through my teenage and early 20s. He always tried to reach me and I resisted. Than all the sudden something changed, I had a child. We both were going through life, and our fates had finally aligned. Neither of us expected what would come. I am now taking the rains of my father’s business that he betted everything on. I’m going to give it everything I have to respect his legacy and my mine! “Always give 110%” What I was raised by! 🍻

I started a window cleaning company in the middle of September 22. It's now almost December and I'm schedule out for almost 2 weeks while working my main job. I plan on making the transition next year early spring. Patience has been the name of the game. 10x the investment in the first 2 months. Only forward and upwards from here. Don't give up and never sigh when you go to work. Embrace it and hold your imbitions high. If you truly want to make the change, the long days don't seem long or very hard. That's the feeling on going in the right direction. Pain is temporary, legacy is forever.

He really puts in the pressure of time into perspective. I say, anything you want to try, just fucking do it. Conquer you fears, do things that scare the fuck out of you, break your comfort zone. Do that enough times and your life will significantly improve! Practice the things you suck at relentlessly, you'll get better. So many people complain about their problems or that life is hard. Life was never meant to be easy. Overcome adversity, work hard at challenges, learn as much as possible. If you want 1st place at some challenge, work your ass off and don't stop until you achieve that goal, no matter how long it takes. Fail at something? try again, another failure? try again. Keep trying until you succeed. You only get one life, one chance. Better to give your best shot than to try a few times and give up.

He’s right I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life after school, I had no real intentions to go to college I wanted to hang out and party with the remaining friends I had left from school. But in that time frame I lost my dad and my grandma and I can’t explain in detail how depressed I was dealing with those deaths I hardly knew my dad, I had a great relationship with g-mom, lost a lot of my friends I made, felt like the people in my life were trying to control my life and for awhile it felt like I was hitting rock bottom from a mental health standpoint. I was losing perspective and losing the motivation to do something with my life, for awhile I was in a black tunnel. But the last 4 years of my life honestly was me discovering my true identity, finding me. And if I had to cut off a lot of people in my life, lose a little and deal with loneliness to go through all that this young then it was worth it cause I’m at better place in my life now than I was sitting in a classroom for 7 hours a day being lectured and trying to figure out who my real friends are. To be real 2018 was somewhat of a turning point for me and gaining a new perspective of my life. Those 4 years didn’t kill me, I’m proud to say.

Just Mark thank you for sharing. I went through a similar period in life post college. I too got rid of the toxicity, it took me years to not..but within a year I just cut out the b.s. cold turkey and felt tremendous freedom, weight lifted, stress gone, growth, and clarity in just being me and doing me, not selfishly but peacefully.. peace and blessings

I hear you. Nothing beats a little perspective. good or bad...it stings but after the spiral or tunnel...I hope you become less tolerant and more impatient to a degree of straight forwardness. Life is too short for anything to ruin. I'm still healing too. My turning point was 2016..but really should have been 2008...never too late to get rid of the garbage in your life. aka everything that is toxic.
