No instrument player could possibly think their shoulders have anything to do with where your sound comes from...but maybe he do think thats where su gets their volume from who knows...Old Su 80's and 90's moved way less and put out the same heat..I think the shoulder raise is more of a swag or visual thing...even jazz players like to do it...
