We had so much fun filming this one! This trip was one for the memory books. Good company, good vibes, good times. Huge shout out to the gang at Nukubati for hosting us. Your hospitality is a blessing:) Give them a follow and tell them to start making videos and start GOING HARD on social media😃: / nukubati.island
We appreciate each and every person that watches our videos. Cheers!!

Ni sa bula from the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia... just say your neighbors from the north Pacific. I came across your vlogs yesterday and got hooked. I love the way you encouraged your clan and the people of Fiji to not to look far but to make use of the resources that God blessed the island. May the lord bless you and your lovely family. Bula vinaka and Kaselehlie (Aloha in my native language).

Plant dhruka but make sure the Hotels buy it and serve it to guests. Fiji has some unique foods and unique seasons. Fiji should be a food destination for visitors or returning Kai Viti's as much as the beaches and the culture. For too long these delicacies were never available in the Hotels.

Woohoo! Bula to Lara! Lolomas to all the Nukubati crew. We've found pottery shards on our property too! We are pretty sure there is an old hill fort up at Lalakoro on our hill at Seva (Lara might know where that is) as there has been found old foundations of a village up there.

Lapita pottery is significant especially amongst melanesian or the Oceania region . The first settlers using lapita pottery were found in Papua New guinea and extended to Solomon islands, fiji and new calodenia. And it's refreshing to see evidence of this sea faring link even to today

Yaqona would be a good crop there maybe? I just spent 4yrs living in Malaysia where they grow Durian. Crazy fruit but it's a delicacy in Asia and China. Sells for crazy prices there. The weather in Malaysia and Fiji is similar so it should grow well. Let me know what you think.

It’s a Panasonic GH5 with a 12-24 Leica lens. I bought it because of its world class in-body stabilization capabilities and the fact that it just puts out such nice footage. Not a new model camera by any means but dang, I love it. Good question! Thanks for watching!!

Vinaka na video. As for the lapita people, they are believed to have been the first to reach the tiny islands of the Pacific. That piece of lapita that you held up for the camera is an evidence of their culture and livelihood....which existed more than 3000 years ago.
