when you have a thailand elitevisa, depending on which program you go for, you will find yourself paying at least 600000 baht for a 5 yearvisa which would have cost joe average about 10000. there some perks, are these perks worth 590000? 90 day reporting can be done for free online after you do your first one at your local immigration office. look over the thailand elite programs. owning a businesshere involves having a thai partner, to the best of my knowledge. you cant work without a work visa and running a business is "work"

The meaning of landlord does not have the same meaning as it did hundreds of years ago. She is actually referring to a Property Owner. Foreigners can own Condos/Apartments.

I want to operate a yacht charter out of Phuket. If I invest more than 500,000 US dollar does that qualify me for the LTR visa? I would not be working somebody else would manage and do the other services involved with operating a charter yacht.

Regarding setting up a Hong Kong Limited company, what did you mean by “more accurate invoicing?” Is it due to HK being a financial hub for forex payments? I’m a dual HK-US citizen and have been interested in selling Thai/ASEAN products abroad online. Your point about setting up a HK company caught my attention and gave me more confirmation.
