Love Morakniv. I have a fair few, from the first ones to modern day full tang knives. The thing about Mora is that their standard plastic handled construction knives are dirt cheap and still sharp and strong from the factory. Cheap enough to be a write off: use it as a pry bar, hammer, screwdriver...and so on, it's definitely a tool, not an fashion accessory. Scandi grind is, for my use, the best grind. Utilitarian and easy to sharpen in the field. I'm a hunter, outdoorsman and I live in the middle of nowhere in Northern Sweden...I use my knives in my everyday life for various tasks. I do a fair bit of carpentry in my spare time too. That first knife (with the black handle) looked small. Sure there were a few models of short Mora knives (Scout mod. 39 and the snub nose Eldris)...but the base models aren't that small. And there are a few that are pretty sizable. If you should buy a Morakniv. Try: Morakniv Classic No.1, Morakniv Basic 511, Morakniv Garberg, Mora S2000 and Morakniv Lok Blackblade. Mora Pro, Mora Pro Stäm are great for carpentry. And worth every penny if you're looking for knives that you can really beat on and not care. Puukko knives are great too.. (I'm half swede and finn) 😏 Eka Swingblade is awesome too. Great knife for gutting and skinning. Then again. I make my own knives too. But those are my eating knives. For when I need to slice some dried smoked reindeer meat, suovas or a Falukorv 😊 Nonetheless, great video and Greetings from Northern Sweden 🇸🇪

@@blademan175 No problem 👍 I've bought from Thompson Scandinavian Knife Supply many times. He ships fast and I've always gotten what I ordered. His page is simple and not all fancy but he's legit. I worry with Knife stuff cause there are some scammers out there . I've also bought a few blade blanks from Ragweed and never had issues.
