Thank you for talking about this. I was in “the limbo” for 11 months after arriving on K1 (april 2020 - march 2021) and it’s psychological torture at it’s finest. During that time there were other worse problems in immigration, so nobody was talking about EAD delays publically, which made us, who were in that limbo, feel even more invisible. This video means a lot.

@@joshdubai25 there is a bunch of people getting their ead who applied may through June. There is some other who applied in September and October and already got their cards. I applied in July and still nothing yet.

If this helps anyone, this has been the timeline for my wife. June 24, 2021: Filed AOS Packet August 7: Biometrics Notice Received September 3: Biometrics Appointment Completed September 4: Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS September 8: I-765 Approved. Card being produced September 13: I-765 Card was produced September 14: I-765 Card mailed by USPS September 16: I-765 Card arrived November 24: Interview Scheduled (waiting on notice with interview date) December 4: Interview Notice received. Interview scheduled for January 6. January 6, 2022: Interview completed. Green card approved at interview! January 11: I-551 Card was produced. January 12: I-551 Card was picked up by the United States Postal Service. January 15: I-551 Card arrived. January 18: Made a Social Security appointment over the phone. January 20: Social Security appointment at office. (Had to bring original documents) January 31: Social Secuirty Card arrived.

Since someone else posted their timeline, I'll do the same as well. August 30: USCIS received I-765 application. September 28: Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken. I'll update as the case goes on. I'm in Nebraska btw. Edit- Jan. 16 shows no updates

We waited almost 12 months. After our EAD was out of normal processing time. We called USCIS and did a expedite on it. In three days our status changed to card/EAD being produced and will be mailed. Did you do your biometric yet?

If someone is on a F1 visa currently working under an OPT EAD and has already filed an I-485 concurrently filed with a I-765, can they work while the I-765 is pending? The concern is that the OPT EAD will expired soon but the EAD based on I-485 (c)(9) (spouse/sponsor is a US Citizen) has not yet produced/arrive. Biometrics were already completed more than 30 days ago. Priority date for the I-485/I-765 was over 100 days ago. Still waiting for EAD card based on the pending I-485.

Never mind work visas delays, the government lost lawsuit on K1 Visas, they sopose to be giving these priority. They need to be sued on behalf of every person and have to pay $50 k each person. The only way they will take this seriously #LoveIsNotTourism

@@babarmirza834 I contacted USCIS through the online chat and told them I wanted to expedite my I-765 - I had evidence of financial hardship if they didn’t expedite my application so they accepted my evidence and issued my I-765

@@babarmirza834 we filed I-765 & I-131 renewal end of Jan 21. I have been reading a lot about people waiting 10+ months for a renewal - we simply couldn’t wait that long. So I decided to act as soon as I heard the feedback from the community.

I-130, 485, 131, 765 all applied in May at NBC. Biometrics on oct 5th. Case was updated to case is ready to be schedule for an interview. No work permit yet.

Applied on April 2021, finger prints done on June 29th, case updated to "ready to schedule for an interview" on September 2nd, no work permit yet but, on November 10th case was updated to "Interview was scheduled" so just waiting for the mailed notice to check my interview date. Automatic Extensions Based on a Timely Filed Application to Renew Employment Authorization and/or Employment Authorization Document Foreign nationals in certain employment eligibility categories who file Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, to renew their EADs may receive automatic extensions of their expiring EAD for up to 180 days. The extension begins on the date the EAD expires and continues for up to 180 days, unless USCIS denies the renewal application. An automatic EAD extension depends on these requirements: Employees must have filed an application to renew their EAD before it expires (except certain employees with Temporary Protected Status (TPS)), and the application remains pending; The eligibility category on the front of the EAD is the same eligibility category on the employee’s Form I-797C, Notice of Action (except employees with TPS who may have a C19/A12 combination); and Current EAD eligibility categories for a 180-day automatic extension are A03, A05, A07, A08, A10, C08, C09, C10, C16, C20, C22, C24, C31, and A12 or C19. The eligible categories are published on the USCIS Automatic EAD Extension page. Some category codes on the EAD may include the letter ‘P’ such as C09P. Employers should disregard the letter ‘P’ when comparing the category code on the EAD with the category code on the receipt notice.

USCIS received my EAD ( Adjustment of status K1 visa, C9) on JULY 20th, when I check the processing time it's already processed my date, I haven't received any update. It's been over 10 months. I tried creating a case online however received no response. Unable to call the USCIS human, it's always automated voice robo. How can I talk to a human at the USCIS ? Any tips on expedition ?
