Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty all seem to have a special relationship with the birds of the forest who like to fly around them and sing. I’ve been wondering if Emma is still enjoying her violin or if the humidity cause the sound to change. I’ve been intrigued with the carbon fiber violins. Such a fun instrument to play with.

She still enjoys playing her violin. The humidity sometimes messes with her strings which means more tunings, but nothing she can't handle. Lately she has been jamming with fellow cruisers and learning to play along with other genres of music. It's been watching her evolve with her violin.

Teal, for your lithium batteries, what does fire fighting look like, should the unfortunate happen? Usually with lithium batteries, it prescribes physical separation and a huge amount of water to reverse thermal run away, which both seem hard to do where they are usually mounted on sailing craft. 1) Scrubbing your bottom is very important. 2) Why didn't Teal gimbal the battery tray? The instructions clearly state to never let the batteries get past 100° 3) Are you interested in a package of dead batteries I'm recycling? They are free of charge.

Yes, keeping the bottom of your vessel clean is very important. We don't list more than a few degrees and our battery bank is located very close to the center of our boat so we don't need to gimbal our batteries.

You wouldn't gimbal anything because of heat. 3) Dead batteries have no electric charge. Who in their right mind would charge $ and try to sell dead boat batteries?

She is also learning the piano/keyboard when she has access to one. She loves it. We have many cruiser friends that carry a guitar, banjo and other string instruments that have offered to teach her, so it's always fun to try something new.
