Bought it for my key chain knife ( 1 1/2 inch blade ). Sharpened it up really well.

I carry a Lansky Blade Medic on camping trips for that reason. It fits in the pouch of my belt knife sheath, and it's great for reconditioning an edge in a hurry.

@@thisolddog2259 it's a pull through sharpener with carbide coarse for one notch, and ceramic fine on the other. The advantage is that it also has a ceramic rounded bar along one edge, and a tapered diamond rod that folds out from the back. Those two are useful for touch up and serrations, as long as they aren't too fine. And it's small enough to fit in a slot pocket of a pack or something.

It’s actually a pretty good little sharpener, only issue is that the edge angle is 25 degrees

I have one . I use it to maintain my knives edges..this is my experience. The total sharpening is 50 deg.

Hello from Vorarlberg 😄🇦🇹 Time to give us a real review on that sharpener. 😄 The ax you have in your hand is most likely made of Sheffield Steel. 😁 Sheffield steel was known as the most common steel used for tools and knives and chisels and is most likely the real deal. 😄 it is literally impossible nowadays to make the exact same skill as they did back then and the one you have probably has three notches in it or used to have three notches meaning it came from the best batch of Steel of that year. 😄 Der klagte spaces and very hard to find. 😅 Great little ax do not give away. 😉 I personally bought lots of Sheffield Steel chisels because of the amazing sharpness of the steel itself and it is uncomparable to the modern steels. 😁 The company of the ax will be the Sheffield Steel company. Hi Jupiter, I must admit I do not love pull-through sharpeners. If you really need to use one, use the ceramic part.
