Curtains are lovely, with pelmet absolutely. Tiles look fabulous. The mirror above the fireplace is beautiful. However, the little cabinet next to the fireplace gets lost, its a specialty piece and should not be hidden away next to the fireplace. Something much skinnier should go there for a little lamp to sit on. Also it wouldn't hurt to fluff up the top part of the drapes so they're more in a circular draped, curved from the top, to the tie back, look. You are both very creative and work very hard to make something so beautiful great job to both of you.

The curtains turned out beautiful! Like you, I love the curtains both ways! Regarding subscriptions to channels, other KZbin channels have been mentioning their subscription numbers have also gone down. I check every so often to see if I am still a subscriber to different channels I watch. I check yours regularly. I've had to "re-subscribe" to the channels I watch after discovering I was no longer subscribed to the channel. I'm so glad you brought that up for everyone to check to see if they are still subscribed to your channel. I don't know why it happens.

I love the way you combine colours and patterns so well. In this bedroom, the 'gold' walls, floral wallpaper and regency stripe curtains are all so different but match so well. Agree with Ted about those tiles: just gorgeous and would look great on a floor... but spat my tea out laughing (literally LOL'd) at "It always needs a lamp on it!". I am on Team Pelmet... finishes it off so well. (EDIT: Oh and I am still subscribed. I wonder if the drop in numbers could also be because people delete their accounts rather than just unsubscribe from you. I checked your sub numbers regularly for ages but haven't for a while so delighted to see the numbers jump up!).

You definitely don't need the old fashioned pelmets just more stuff in the room. Also there is already a lot going on with the fireplace, it doesn't need that lovely little piece of furniture put in that corner. Move it out and put it on its own and let it shine.
